Cacti graphs not updating after upgrade

During the full Cacti Ubuntu installation video, it was noted that some folks had issues with the graphs displaying after the Cacti application update.

This is due to the path of the rra folder within Cacti.

5) Specify number of threads each Spine process can spawn. Best practice is to start with 10 threads and increase as needed. NOTE: Best parallelism with Spine is achieved with treads.The great thing about that is if you used the formatting guide provided in the Cacti installation video’s, this is also your largest partition.The last step is to verify the proper permissions for the /var/lib/cacti/rra folder.If you have any problems or suggestions let me know! Polling times are too long, and some graphs are not updating correctly. RTM's default poller cannot handle high workload of larger LSF grid environments.
